Ward No.2 is the adult in-patient
department with 40 beds, including 36 regular beds and 4 VIP rooms
which are equipped with air conditioner, television, telephone and
private bathroom.There are nine physicians including three chief
physician, one associate physician, one doctor-in-charge and four
attending doctors as well as four nurses and one nurse assistant.
The ward appeals to integrated medicine
of TCM with rehab therapy, and focuses on the patients with vegetative
state, stroke paralysis, stroke sequela, post-traumatic sequela,
cerebral atrophy and epilepsy. The ward applies to acupuncture,
tuina, medicine inducing therapy, aupoint catgut embedding, occupational
therapy, ST, herbal soaking, herbal steaming and physical therapy.
For years, the ward attempts to solve the
problem of adult brain disease and gain good results, for example,
elonged penetrating needling for urination difficulty and limps
function improvement, three dimensional five target therapy for
patients with vegetative state, the third balance therapy for cerebellum
atrophy, combined therapy with catguts embedding and epilepsy machine
for epilepsy, SHI’s xingnaokaiqiao needing combined with small
acupuncture knife and herbal medicine for various cerebro-vascular
disease.
The ward also offer the staff the opportunities
for better self-development, they are appointed to Beijing and shanghai
for continued education, which could facilitate the staff for better
professional level.
