Xi'an TCM Brain Disease hospital (Xi'an Affiliated Brain Disease
Hospital of Shaanxi University of TCM ) is a secondary first-class
nonprofit specialized hospital for brain disease which focuses on
TCM therapy. The hospital has 500 beds, setting up internal, surgical,
gynecology, paediatrics, traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture,
encephalopathy, rehabilitation, clinical laboratory, ECG & EEG,
B ultrasonic, CT, radiology and other departments, offerring the
patients with brain disease service and comprehensive medical sevice.
Our hospital, affiliated of Shaanxi University
of TCM, is the eleven fifth national key hospital for cerebral disease,
undertaker of state eleven fifth scientific major program study
on hydrocephalus Prevention, scientific research unit supported
by State Administration of TCM,TCM technical promoting program approved
by State Administration of TCM, appointed medical unit for China
health poverty relief project, provincial key hospital for cerebral
palsy in Shaanxi province, provincial designated hospital of new
rural cooperation medical treatment of Shaanxi province, municipal
appointed hospital of basic health insurance accreditation, appointed
hospital of urban residents health insurance of Xi'an city, and
the first national excellent private TCM hospital.
The hospital focuses on scientific research
and emphasizes on clinical practice with highlight of therapeutic
effect. It has obtained five state patents, and undertaken twelve
state and provincial research projects, edited one monograph on
hydrocephalus, developed twenty types Chinese materia medica preparation
of NaoKangLing series. Hydrocephalus Trinity Combined Therapy and
Standardization on Application of External Counterpulsation on Acupoints
for Infantile External Hydrocephalus respectively won the TCM technical
promoting program of 2000 and 2005 approved by State Adiministration
of TCM. It has been popularized in Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan, Shenyang,
Urumqi and Indonesia. Hydrocephalus Trinity Combined Therapy and
Clinical Research on treatment epilepsy with Adron Electronic Acu-point
Stimulator won the third provincial prize and second municipal prize.
The hospital is run by informatization management and has established
its own websites, such as China Brain Disease website and Cherish
Brain website and website of Xi'an Brain Disease Hospital of TCM.
The hospital based on Cherish Life and
Protact Brain with the honesty, and promote the medical service
comprehensively by internal improving the quality and outside building
a nice image. It focuses on academic exchanges and research cooperation
and has received the visit groups from America, UK, Australia, Hungary,
Armenia and Poland, as well as domestic experts. It also established
the cooperation with World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion
Societies, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, Beijing University
of TCM, ShanDong University of TCM and Shaanxi TCM Academy. The
hospital also works together with Shaanxi University of TCM for
Xi'an branch school, which is approved to be national TCM continued
education base of brain diseases by China Association of Chinese
Medicine. The center has also undertaken the continued education
programs of provincial TCM administration and TCM association. There
is a medical enterpaises group which covers medical treatment, scientific
research, education and medical instruments developping. It has
been set up a medical pattern of a foothold in Xi'an, oriented to
the whole country and radiated all over the world. |
